Morning Light in Our Haidian Apartment
Your essence,
engrossed, I am.
The faint scent of discomfiture, still
lingers here.
Placing emphasis on the space untenanted --
my bed: A station platform for which I anticipate
a redemption of my fears,
affirmed.
My love, tangential to the thoughts surrounding your unpalatable disposition.
... I turn away, no more can I hear myself;
evoking an exquisite grief, and I lay..
breath birthed as mist in the dawn of morning
frozen --
To myself.
I trail my lips against your pillow, unwashed for days,
for fear that I will wash all memory of your face... next to mine...
in Haidian --
Where I kissed your mouth,

You’re sitting next to your mother, and on the other side is a man that smells like loneliness, something that you’ll later know as cigarettes and alcohol and homelessness. He’s crying quietly into the top of his jacket and you’re scared to look because you’ve never seen an adult cry.
The train ride goes on for five minutes, which is a lo
Wow.
As soon as I make a decision, other things become readily available, tempting and pulling me into a different direction.
With that said, medical school may come much sooner than I expected, and I may not take this gap year.
Universe willing,
Fingers crossed.
I hope this goes well.
Been thinking about the future. I have a year off before I matriculate into medical school.
I've decided until I get into medical school, I'm going to dive into clinical neurophysiology. If accepted, I'll be working all over the U.S. with neurosurgeons in hospitals, making sure brain surgery/etc is happening on point.
I am pretty sure this is what comes next.
Is it just me, or does deviantart seem to be dying out..?
80% of the people I watched 4 years ago no longer post, and there's not as much activity as I remember...
Where did everyone go?
